Using the infectiously fun music from Mary Poppins, these pint-sized performers will learn all the nuances of what it means to be on stage—from diction and projection, to dancing and spacing. They’ll also engage in fun, interactive games designed to teach character, movement, spatial awareness, and more!
NOTE: The final week will end with a mini-performance for all parents, family and friends to showcase what they’ve learned over the course of the Session—and also include one free ticket to The Studio’s production of Mary Poppins in December 2026!

Singing, it seems, is in abundance around the rooms and halls of The Studio.
Acting, though? It’s one area where kids are itching to know more!
Thankfully, we’ve got it locked down. Mary Huff, professional actor of both stage and screen, is leading this one-of-a-kind, building-up-the-basics acting class. Through age-appropriate scenes, character work, and critique, kids will explore posture, voices, physicality and motivation . . . all the things that make a great on-stage character.
If you’re looking to get your feet wet acting-wise, or looking to take the next step in finding and performing on stage, this is the perfect Sesssion for you!

We absolutely adore teaching kids the foundations of becoming a well-rounded performer. One of the main pillars to shore up a Studio star? Learning how to use your singing voice in the best, most healthy, theatrically effective way possible!
With a teacher, Julia Baker, who is a star of the Studio stage in her own right, kids will experience solos, duets, and ensembles—all challenging, all age-appropriate, and all geared toward kicking their vocal performances up eight or nine notches.
Projection, diction, enunciation, breathing, interpretation, no musical stone is left unturned . . . and at the end of this Session, kids will be wholly equipped to tackle any part thrown their way!
