Lindsey Wirth

Lindsey began dancing 35 years ago and very early on developed a great love for ballet. She went on to study with Rockford Dance Company, Metropolitan Ballet, and Northern Illinois University to name a few.  Some of her favorite roles include dancing as the Snow Queen in the Nutcracker, the Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, and even Mother Ginger in the Nutcracker when she was pregnant with her first child.   Lindsey has been teaching in the Rockford area for 20 years and enjoys teaching not only the discipline of dance, but the love of the art.

Outside of the dance world, Lindsey holds a Bachelors degree in Project Management and utilized it in the construction field for several years before switching to a full time stay at home mom. She is married and has 5 children.

Maggie Yoho

Maggie Yoho has been a part of The Studio since 2015, her first Studio production being You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown as a freshman. Since then she has performed in nine productions and recently interned as assistant choreographer for The Studio’s Madagascar Jr. Maggie has been dancing since she was ten with Steps to Grace Dance Academy. She graduated from Hononegah Community High School in the spring of 2019 and is currently working on her Associate of Arts at Rock Valley College. She wishes to pursue a BFA in Dance at Rockford University. Maggie is also involved in her church, Harvest Bible Chapel Rockford, serving in the kids ministry and being a leader in the youth ministry.

Over the past eight years, Maggie performed on the dance team for two years, danced in the annual recitals and participated in the Dance Revolution Convention. Since 2017, Maggie has been a company dancer with Chelsea Gallivan in Immersion Performing Arts Company, which has given her an opportunity to sink her feet into choreography as well as performing in the Rockford City Dance Festival, Dance Revolution, and community events.

After many years of being under Chelsea’s instruction as a dancer, Maggie has grown so much in her passion for dance and her desire to share it with others. She is a loving and patient person at heart and absolutely adores interacting with children.

Fun Fact: Maggie has a sweet spot for ice cream, as she works at the Dairy Haus Ice Cream Shoppe in Rockton.
