Who We Are
Learn more about The Studio. Here at The Studio, we believe learning can be fun, and we strive to instill a love of performing and visual arts in students of all ages. Our goal is to teach, train, inspire, encourage and build whenever and wherever we can. We create a safe place for learning, for making mistakes, for stepping outside your comfort zone and challenging our students to push their limits in a brave and courageous way.
Through Theatrical Productions, Private Lessons, Studio Sessions, Art Workshops, Summer Camps and more, The Studio embodies a straightforward mission statement—“excellence, while having fun.”
We’re all about excellence … while having fun.
In all we do, in all we experience, in all we say, that mantra lives in our DNA. We want to be as excellent as possible, and we want to have a blast doing it. And to those who become a part of The Studio—you will grow in a creative environment like no other…and you won’t even realize you’re learning.
Adam Walsh
Honestly, we don’t think Adam ever really grew up.
He’s a musician, composer, and teacher with a unique ability to connect with kids of all ages. With a strong desire to instill a love of music in his students, Adam sets out to create a learning environment parents will appreciate and kids will love. As a former children’s pastor, Adam has trained young musicians in the worship arts, taught songwriting, and recorded three albums of Bible memory verses. He’s written and edited curriculum for both Group Publishing in Loveland, Colorado, and Orange (252 Kids, K-5, Pre-teen), and has performed in or musically directed over 50 shows.
In 2014, Adam and his wife Courtney decided to take a leap and created The Studio, in their hometown, Rockford, IL. Adam has a B.S. in Music from Bradley University, is a father of three insanely entertaining kids, and will destroy you in Scrabble.
