Jobs at The Studio

Studio Administrator {Private Lessons, Sessions & Dance}

We’re creatives. We dream. We gather inspired people to accomplish big goals. We begin really, really well.

But because we’re creative, we forget. We scramble. We attempt organization—but it’s hard for us.

We need someone who takes the creative chaos and puts it on a calendar. Someone who can answer a phone, write a nice looking sentence, and partner with parents about their child’s private lessons. Someone who can manage bookings, someone who loves to schedule, and someone who finds joy in finding the right answer.

We need a list-maker. A schedule architect. A systems creator.

We’re looking for a Studio Administrator to oversee all administrative duties in and around the lesson and dance side of The Studio. Things we’re not good at. Things perhaps you are.

Specifics? They’re below.

  • Coordinate new students with parents & teachers in a timely fashion
  • Handle all invoicing for Studio families, including recording payments in a timely fashion
  • Answer and direct phone calls/messages, during specific Studio hours
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Maintain email contact lists
  • Produce and distribute correspondence emails for lessons and sessions, for both private music lessons and dance sessions and classes
  • Prepare regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain our online system for students
  • Order office supplies
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Provide general support to parents
  • Minimal in-person hours required

  • Proven admin or assistant experience—references are key
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Ability to hit deadlines even when information is last minute
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Docs, or Mac-based software
