Aaron Urbelis: Guitar
Aaron Urbelis has been studying music for over ten years, but it wasn’t until college that he really committed. While studying Classical Guitar, Music Theory, Music History and even Choral Arranging at the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, Aaron began to feel overwhelmed. Thankfully, he had a great teacher who took him every step of the way. “It was because of my teacher,” Aaron says, “that I was able to find potential within myself that I never knew I had.” He graduated with a degree in Classical Guitar Performance. Since then, Aaron has played in jazz ensembles, pit bands for productions such as “Rent” and “Spring Awakening,” and has also produced his own music with his local blues band. Aaron takes his role as a teacher very seriously, wanting to inspire his students the way his professor inspired him. He believes in challenging students while always remaining supportive and encouraging. Aaron is well-versed in many styles of music, including classical, country, blues, rock, funk, R&B and even jazz guitar. He says, “It is my hope to share my insight and help others play these wonderful styles and find the beauty within them. Without a doubt, music has enriched my life and shown me a whole new world.” Aaron is currently booking private and small group guitar lessons.
